The Flash Back

Never dream that Professional Photographer becoming my job. It was around 1967 when my old men doing his duty in Mexico as a diplomat. Every time his on duty or on a vacation he always brought a camera. He’d like to documenting his activity and

of course, us, as his family. The camera was Canon SLR (I forgot the type). Start from there, I enchanted of taking a picture. My old men gave me a pocket camera, Kodak, and then I begin taking a picture of something fascinating.

I learnt to use SLR camera, Ricoh, when I was at Senior High. I started to learn how to manage the composition, lighting and so on….all by myself. At that time, no photographer’s course exists. So, all I am thinking that if i want to learn how to take a picture just take a picture. After I had enough ability on this, I felt challenge to use the Nikon FG. That was my first camera and it was used when I diligently serious on photography. Nowadays, I used Nikon D70 and Nikon D200.

At last, on 1988, I met the late Mr. Gandewa who accidentally was my cousin and ‘Kang’ Heru Rigandi. They became my teachers and best friends. My thankfulness to them, I have the courage to be Professional Photographer until now.
